Luke Irwin, the London-based rug designer who counts everyone from the Royal Family to members of U2 and The Rolling Stones among his clientele, needed a distributor in the US to carry his core line of to-the-trade rug designs.


Nylon Consulting identified a showroom that was established in the trade, but had room to market the line. Nylon Consulting brokered the deal between Luke Irwin and Patterson Flynn & Martin, and handled the launch in both New York and Los Angeles for press and the design trade; inviting for the New York dinner a tier of rising talent in the interior design industry that represented a new set of customers for Patterson, Flynn & Martin.


In the space of one year, Nylon Consulting built two separate sales channels in the US for Luke Irwin, including the first opportunity outside of New York
